Our binding standards
- No representation, promotion or sexual exploitation of minors.
- No initiation of contact, manipulation, blackmail or requests for sexual acts.
- No real, fictional, manipulated or AI-generated depictions of abuse.
- No personal data of minors will be passed on with harmful intent.
- No circumvention of age, reporting, blocking or account protection measures.
Reporting and response
Suspicious content or contacts can be reported in the app. Tips are prioritized, access to affected content can be restricted and relevant evidence can be secured against changes. If there are reasonable suspicions, we will work with the relevant authorities and recognized reporting offices to the extent required by law.
Age verification and default settings
BELANO is not intended for children under 13 years of age. The app asks for age neutrally before an account can be used regularly. Teens receive privacy-friendly and security-focused default settings. Depending on the country, additional consent requirements may apply.
Dedicated contact
Send reports of child endangerment or sexual exploitation to safety@belano.app. Do not send unlawful image files by email. Instead, describe the account, content and time as precisely as possible.
Responsibility and training
Only expressly authorized persons are allowed to check corresponding reports. Accesses and actions are logged. Team members with moderation tasks must be regularly trained on child protection, preservation of evidence, data protection and escalation channels.
